Wythepedia is divided into two main categories: The George Wythe Collection and The George Wythe Encyclopedia.

The George Wythe Collection

This section of Wythepedia is devoted to the library of George Wythe especially as represented by The George Wythe Collection at the College of William & Mary's Wolf Law Library. A page will be created for each book title or set known or suspected to have been owned by Wythe.

Content

Each book page will feature these sections:

• Introductory paragraph(s) highlighting the history of the title and author.
• Bibliographic information - Author, Title, Publication information, and Edition.
• Evidence for Inclusion in Wythe's Library - a summary of the sources and research that indicate why we think Wythe owned a particular title.
• Description of the Wolf Law Library's copy - a description of the physical condition of the volume(s) noting all inscriptions and bookplates. This section will also include a link to the title's record in William & Mary's online catalog. This section will not be included on the pages for titles not owned by The Wolf Law Library.
• External Links - redirects to a full text copy of the volume(s) in (in order of preference) Google Books, the Internet Archive, or another free web resource.
• References - citations for the information included in the Introductory paragraph and the Evidence for Inclusion sections. Citations follow The Chicago Manual of Style.
• Categories - all book pages fall in the category of "Titles in Wythe's Library"; titles owned by The Wolf Law Library have the added category of "George Wythe Collection at William & Mary's Wolf Law Library"; all book pages will also have at least one subject category such as "English Literature" or "Criminal Law".

Images

The book pages for items in The George Wythe Collection will also include images of at least one title page, all bookplates and inscriptions, and any illustrations deemed interesting or necessary to enhance the page design. Files for the images will be loaded with the following naming convention:

The comment field for the image should include a brief description (title page, bookplate from front paste down, inscription from front fly leaf, frontispiece, etc.) the author's full name, the full title, volume number, publication information and date. The title should be linked to the Wythepedia page for that title.

The George Wythe Encyclopedia

This section of Wythepedia covers all aspects of Wythe's life and career other than his library. Pages may fall into the following categories (this is NOT considered a full list):
