Hi. I was accused of murdering my uncle and namesake, George Wythe, but I was totally acquitted! Cowabunga!

Headpiece, volume two, book seven, from Edward Hyde, Earl of Clarendon's The History of the Rebellion and Civil Wars in England.

I am currently working on:

  • Locating Wythe's lost lecture notes.
  • Wythe's biography.
  • •Reporting on Wythe's death in 1806.
  • *Biographical articles from period encyclopedias.
  • The Wythe Tablet and Wythe gravesite monument.
  • Proceedings from the Virginia State Bar Association and Sons/Daughters of the American Revolution regarding the above.
  • Wythe signatures and bookplates.
  • Scanning title pages for books in the Wythe Collection.
