RESOLVED,THAT it is the opinion of this committee, that the most effectual methods ought to be taken to recover the debts due to the Public, as well those from the late Treasurer, as from the several Sheriffs, and others who are in arrears.
RESOLVED, That it is the opinion of this committee, that unless the administrators of the late Treasurer shall, within four months, sell and dispose of their testator's estate, except his window's dower in the lands, for a year's credit, in order to discharge the debt due from him to the Public, then, after that time, the Treasurer do take out executions on the judgments against the said administrators, and proceed to sell the estate. .
By the House of Burgesses,
G. Wythe, Cl. H. B.
