Jennings v. Black, 1 Jefferson's Memorandum Books 239 (1771),[1] was case possibly involving ejectment in which George Wythe represented the plaintiff.

Sep. 25. Gibeon Jennings (     ) v. John Ramsey (Augusta). Ejectm. for 165. as. Augusta. Empld. by James Black, who as havg. convd. & warrd. to def. is bound to defend. Recd. £5. G. W. is empld. in a similar suit id. v. Jno. Black, so mutually assist.
