Speirs v. Thomas, 1 Jefferson's Memorandum Books 269 (1772),[1] was a case in which George Wythe moved for court costs.

Text of Jefferson's Entry

Aug. 19. Speirs v. Thomas. Mr. Jones insists we shall move the court for costs of the motion for certiorari, for Geo. Wythe.[2]
