''Resolved'', That it is of great consequence to this State to secure the salt springs in the county of Kentucky, and therefore that the Governor and Council be requested to embody as many of the militia of the counties of Washington, Montgomery, Henry, Pittsylvania, Bedford and Augusta, as will make up the number of three hundred men, including officers, be commanded by the county lieutenant, or commanding officer of Kentucky county, and to be by him stationed in such parts of the county as he shall think necessary to prevent the incursions of the enemy.
