Hooker v. Burwell, 1 Jefferson's Memorandum Books 136 (1769),[1] was a case of ejectment. George Wythe served on the side of the defendant with Thomas Jefferson assisting.

Nov. 8. James Hooker lessee of John Stubbs (Gloster.) v. Lewis Burwell (Gloster.). An ejectm. Appear for def. G. W. is principal.[2]
