A famous Roman advocate and orator,[1] Marcus Fabius Quintilianus (c.31 - c.100 CE) was born in Calagurris in Hispania. Probably educated exclusively in Rome, Quintilian's death date remains a mystery.[2] where he became close with the orator Domitius Afer.[3]
