Charles Evans (1850 – 1935) was an American librarian and bibliographer. His 14-volume opus, A Chronological Dictionary of All Books, Pamphlets, and Periodical Publications Printed in the United States of America, includes entries for ten items published by, or for, George Wythe, including seven cases reported in six supplemental pamphlets, printed separately after an edition of Wythe's decisions were published in 1795.[1] Some of the pamphlets Evans describes did not have title pages, and so his dates of publication are sometimes inaccurate.[2]
