Evidence for Inclusion in Wythe's Library
Listed in the Jefferson Inventory of Wythe's Library as Wingate's Maxims, fol. and given by Thomas Jefferson to Dabney Carr. The 1658 edition appears to be the only edition published.[1] Accordingly, both the Brown Bibliography[2] and George Wythe's Library[3] on LibraryThing include the 1658 edition.
