Phillips v. Hubbard, 1 Jefferson's Memorandum Books 95 (1769),^[1] was a case in which George Wythe was employed as primary attorney with Thomas Jefferson assisting.

April	25.	Sarah Burford (Louisa) v. William Philips (Louisa). Appeal. Note I am to take but half a fee for this & the two subsequent as the pl. has emploied others and is to give me his future business.
		Wm. Philips v. Benjamin Hubbard (     ). A petn. above referred to. G. W. emploied principally.[2]
