I beg Leave to communicate to the General Assembly, the Resolutions of Congress & the Letter from M<sup>r</sup> Laurens, which accompany this. I also inclose you a Letter from General Washington & have the Honor to be,

''Ordered'', That the said resolutions and papers be referred to the committee of the whole House, on the letters from the Governor, which, with several other papers, were ordered to lie on the table.</ref>
