It is understood that Representative Lamb will try to get Congress to make an appropriation for a monument over the [[Wythe Monument|grave of George Wythe]], in St. John's Church yard. Mr. Wythe was one of the signers of the [[Declaration of Independence]], and was prominent in the affairs of the State in the latter part of the eighteenth century.
