This letter is a portion of one of Wythe's orders for scientific equipment. His order includes an aeolipile, which is a simple steam turbine. The device would be filled with water, then spin as steam was emitted. This letter is a portion of one of Wythe's orders for scientific equipment. His order includes an aeolipile, which is a simple steam turbine. The device would be filled with water, then spin as steam was emitted.
