George Wythe writes to Thomas Jefferson regarding positive news about the son of Alexander Quarrier, an artillery lieutenant colonel who served in a Virginia militia. [1]

G Wythe to Th Jefferson.
The friends of Alexander Quarrier will be not a little gratified by hearing that his son, of whom they think well, hath been promoted to some office, which he shall be found qualified to execute farewell.
